4th Annual Golf Tournament and Night in Atlantis Gala
Gainesville Fisher House Foundation announces its 4th Annual Golf Classic and Night in Atlantis Gala at the Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club Sunday April 7th.
The golf tournament which is “top tier” in Gainesville in only its fourth season ( we are reaching for #1) will have a shot gun start at 1 p.m. with all the golfers and by standers being treated and off the course by Bonefish Grill with their grilled Ahi Tuna, Tasty Buddha with scrumptious sliders, Gator Dominoes and our chef Tommy Dees from Cowboyz Bar b Que and Catering who help us at each year. Our thanks to Mercedes Benz of Gainesville for their Hole-in-One sponsorship and other great contests during play.
Join us later for cocktail hour 5 to 6 and enjoy strolling the silent auction and for the Casino fun. Music , dancing and dining are all part of the glorious evening! This event is preceded by a Friday fishing trip for our celebrities, our wounded warriors, out in the Gulf of Mexico. Board members arrange for the warriors to stay nearby so that the early rise for breakfast and fishing is easily done.
Saturday will feature a golf clinic for the warriors hosted by volunteers and taught by our golf pros.
