Patti Fabiani, Executive Director
Patti Fabiani is one of the co-founders of the Gainesville Fisher House Foundation. She has served as the Executive Director of the Gainesville Fisher House Foundation for the past eleven years. In her capacity as Executive Director she helmed the community fundraising for the Fisher House and liaised with hundreds of organizations to get the Fisher House built. It now functions as the busiest Fisher House in the country serving over 1,700 veterans and their families each year.
Patti is a business partner with her husband, Rick, in Fabiani Financial. Patti is also a Real Estate Broker, GRI. She is the former Director of the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts at Florida College, Jacksonville, Florida, and the former Production Director for the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Florida, Gainesville. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with graduate studies at NYU and programs at London University and the University of Cork. She began her career in the arts in professional theater in St. Louis. She has served on arts, civic, and military boards for over 40 years. Patti is also a visual artist, singer, and writer.
Mrs. Fabiani is the recipient of the Jim McCawley Award as Alachua County’s Veterans Supporter of the Year and has been cited for support by the Wounded Warrior Project. She is a 2014 recipient of the Woman of Distinction award from Santa Fe College and was recognized by the Community Foundation of North Central Florida with its Charitable Legacy Award. Patti is the wife of a veteran, daughter of a WWII veteran, and granddaughter of a WWI veteran.
